Westwoods is the Cursino stage. Per the wiki, Greed has gone green and arcane avarice has transformed the woods into a ghoulish gambling den. The defining mechanic is Spin the Wheel, a minigame run by Giocare that takes Gold Coins as payment and returns a random item, event, or area-unlock reward. Players spend gold to expand the map rather than progress on a timer.

Common Westwoods Mistakes

  1. Spending Gold on level-up upgrades instead of wheel spins. Per the wiki, Gold is the wheel's only currency and the wheel is the only path to the second and third areas. Underspending on wheel spins locks the player out of Karoma's Mana and the Masquerade relic.
  2. Trying to reach the relic on the first run without two wheel wins. According to the wiki, the Masquerade relic lives in the final area, gated behind two wheel-spin wins. A single-win run can grab Gatti Amari and Pentagram but cannot reach the relic.
  3. Missing the Chula-Reh unlock by dying before 20:00. The wiki specifies the character unlock requires surviving the full 20-minute timer, not just reaching the final area. Builds optimized for wheel-farm clears at minute 12 still need to survive the remaining 8 minutes.
  4. Ignoring the +20% Gold bonus when planning passives. Per the wiki, the +20% stage bonus stacks with Stone Mask for the wheel-spin budget. Skipping Gold-gain passives leaves the player short on spins for the second wheel win.
  5. Treating Westwoods as a standard challenge stage. The wiki classifies it as a Challenge type, but the progression mechanic (Spin the Wheel) is closer to the bonus stage minigames than the standard wave-clear challenge pattern. Build for Gold farm and area exploration, not pure DPS.
