A polluted roach-farming road between Greymoor and Bilewater, full of caged prisoners and Haunted keepers.
Sinner's Road is one of Silksong's grimmest areas, a polluted stretch with a dark history. Per the wiki, it sits between Greymoor and Bilewater and once served as a breeding ground for Muckroaches, cooked and prepared as food for the moorbugs below.
Now it is overrun. The wiki notes it is heavily polluted and populated by roaches and their former keepers, who have been ensnared by the Haunting.
It is also a hub of characters and quests. This is where
Hornet finds the caged
Green Prince and where the boss Disgraced Chef Lugoli waits.
This guide covers how to reach Sinner's Road, who and what is there, the Green Prince's cage, and the Lugoli boss gauntlet.
A polluted roach-farm road between Greymoor and Bilewater.
Via Greymoor, requires the Cling Grip.
The caged Green Prince and a Simple Key gauntlet.
Disgraced Chef Lugoli.Sinner's Road branches off Greymoor and is gated by a movement ability. Per the wiki, the main entrance is north-east of the Halfway Home in Greymoor.
You need the Cling Grip to get in. The wiki specifies Sinner's Road can only be accessed after obtaining the Cling Grip, since most of north-east Greymoor's upper portion requires it.
There is also a shortcut. According to the wiki, a passage links eastern Greymoor to Styx's nest, though the rest of Sinner's Road cannot be reached directly from that side, so the Greymoor entrance is the main way in.
Grab the Cling Grip before heading for the Green Prince. In actual play, the cage and the area's gauntlets are all gated behind that wall-cling ability.
For a polluted dead end, Sinner's Road is surprisingly busy. Per the wiki, a long list of characters pass through or live here.
| Type | Who or what |
|---|---|
Characters | Green Prince, Crull and Benjin, Styx, Garmond and Zaza, Shakra |
Possible visitor | Lace, if not met in Deep Docks or Blasted Steps |
| Enemies | Muckmaggots, Roachkeepers, Roachservers |
The wiki notes Courier Pill also appears during the My Missing Brother wish, and Skynx shows up in Steel Soul mode. It is as much a crossroads for Pharloom's cast as it is a combat zone.
The emotional centerpiece of Sinner's Road is a prisoner. Per the wiki, the
Green Prince, the last surviving Verdanian, is first encountered locked in a cage here.
Freeing him needs a Simple Key. Conveniently, the wiki notes one of the area's enemy gauntlets, a Roachkeeper fight, rewards a Simple Key, so Sinner's Road can supply the very item that opens his cage.
It is a quietly designed loop: clear the gauntlet, earn the key, and free the prince a few rooms away. In practice, doing both in one visit is the cleanest way to start his questline.
Sinner's Road has its own boss tied to its grim food-farming past. Per the wiki, Disgraced Chef Lugoli is fought here as part of an enemy gauntlet, slamming down from the ceiling and flinging arcing Muckmaggot Globs.
The fight has a requirement. The wiki specifies Lugoli's gauntlet needs the
Faydown Cloak to reach, so it is not available on a first pass through the area.
The wiki adds that if Lugoli is fought in Act 3, he becomes black-threaded shortly after arriving, a harder remix in line with the game's other late-game bosses.
The name fits the place. Per the wiki, Sinner's Road formerly served as a breeding ground for Muckroaches, where they were cooked and prepared as food for the moorbugs below.
That industry left it polluted and grim, and the Haunting did the rest. The wiki notes the roaches and their former keepers are now ensnared by the Haunting, turning a food line into a corrupted gauntlet.
It is a fitting backdrop for caged prisoners and a disgraced chef, one of Pharloom's many places where industry curdled into ruin under the kingdom's sickness.
Sinner's Road threads into the Green Prince's story and the wider map. These guides cover the connected cast and areas.
