Hollow Knight 112% Checklist

Pantheon icon, the hardest 112% content in Hollow Knight
Completion / Hollow Knight (2017)

100% is the base game. The extra 12% is entirely free content packs, and most of it is the Godmaster Pantheons.

Base: 100%Packs: 12%Biggest source: Charms

112% completion in Hollow Knight is the full game: every base-game point for 100%, plus a flat 12% from the three free content packs. The wiki tracks each point, and they add up cleanly.

The single biggest chunk is charms. Per the wiki, charms are worth 36% on their own, with bosses and equipment at 14% each close behind. Get those three groups and you are most of the way there.

The last 12% is where the difficulty spikes. The Godmaster pack alone holds the Godhome icon Pantheons, the toughest content in the game.

This guide gives the complete percentage breakdown by category, the content-pack split, the points players miss most, and the order that makes a 112% run least painful.

  • Base Mask Shard icon 100% from the base game across twelve categories.
  • Packs Grimm Troupe icon 12% from content packs: Grimm Troupe 6, Lifeblood 1, Godmaster 5.
  • Biggest Charms icon Charms are 36%, the largest single source.
  • Hardest Pantheon icon The Godmaster Pantheons gate the final points.

How Completion Works

Completion is a single percentage you can read in-game once you have World Sense. Per the wiki, it counts points from bosses, charms, equipment, spells, and collectibles, and an ending banks the Completion achievement.

The base game caps at 100%. The wiki specifies the three content packs add 12% on top, so 112% is only reachable with all of them installed, which they are by default on modern versions.

Two achievements ride on this. Completion needs 100% and an ending; Pure Completion needs the full 112%. Our playtime guide covers how long that takes.

Completion Tip

The percentage updates the moment you collect a point, so check it against this breakdown to find what you are missing. In practice, a stalled counter almost always means a missed charm or a Warrior Dream ghost.

The Full 100% Breakdown

Here is every base-game category and its point total, straight from the wiki. The twelve groups sum to exactly 100%.

CategoryPointsNotes

Boss icon Bosses14%14 main bosses, 1% each
Equipment icon Equipment14%Movement abilities and tools
Warrior Dream icon Warrior Dreams7%7 dream-warrior ghosts
Spells icon Spells6%3 spells plus 3 upgrades

Vessel Fragment icon Vessel Fragments3%3 Soul vessel upgrades
Dream Nail icon Dream Nail and Essence3%Dream Nail plus Essence tiers
Dreamers icon Dreamers3%Lurien, Monomon, Herrah

According to the wiki, the Kingsoul charm must be fully assembled to count its point, and Fragile charms consumed by Divine stop counting while eaten. Those two quirks trip up a lot of charm totals.

The 12% Content Packs

The jump from 100% to 112% is three free packs, and the points are not evenly split. Godmaster and Grimm Troupe carry almost all of it.

PackPointsWhere they come from
Grimm Troupe icon Grimm Troupe6%Grimmchild, Weaversong, Dreamshield, Sprintmaster, and the Grimm fights
Hive Knight icon Lifeblood1%The Hive Knight boss
Godmaster icon Godmaster5%Godtuner and the four Pantheons

Per the wiki, the Grimm Troupe pack spreads its 6% across four charms and two boss fights, while Godmaster's 5% is mostly the Pantheon icon Pantheon clears. The Pantheon of Hallownest is the single hardest point in the game.

What to Prioritize

Chase the big buckets first, because they are also the easiest points per hour. Charms, bosses, and equipment together are 64% of the total.

Collect charms as you explore; at 36% they are the backbone of the run, and our best charms guide covers where each lives. Main bosses come naturally through the main route, and equipment is just the movement abilities you need anyway.

Save the hard points for last. In actual play, the smart order is charms and bosses, then collectibles and Warrior Dreams, then the content packs, ending with the Pantheon of Hallownest once your build is fully online.

Easy-to-Miss Points

A handful of points hide in spots players walk past. These are the usual reasons a counter sits one or two percent short of a tier.

  • Warrior Dream ghosts. The seven dream warriors like Galien icon Galien and Gorb need the Dream Nail and are easy to skip entirely.
  • The Kingsoul charm. It only counts once fully assembled from both White Fragments in the abyss line.
  • Nail Arts. All three come from the Nailmasters; miss one teacher and you lose a point.
  • Both Hornet fights. Hornet Protector and Hornet Sentinel are separate boss points in Greenpath and Kingdom's Edge.
  • Essence tiers. Dream Nail and Essence points need you to bank enough Essence at the Seer, not just hold it.

Common Mistakes

  1. Feeding Fragile charms to Divine and forgetting. They stop counting while consumed. Reclaim them before checking your total.
  2. Leaving the Kingsoul half-built. Both White Fragments are required for the single point.
  3. Skipping Warrior Dreams. Seven free points hide behind the Dream Nail across the map.
  4. Assuming 100% is the cap. The packs push it to 112%, and Pure Completion needs all of it.
  5. Rushing the Pantheon underpowered. Finish every other point first so the Pantheon of Hallownest is your only remaining hurdle.

Yes. The three Nail Arts from the Nailmasters are worth 3% total, one point each.

How long does a 112% run take?

Most players reach 112% in 55 to 65 hours, since it includes the Godmaster Pantheons on top of full base-game completion.
