"Teleporters charge 30% (+30% per stack) faster, but the size of the Teleporter zone is 50% (-50% per stack) smaller." A lunar item with a hard tradeoff: faster stage progression but a dramatically reduced zone that punishes kiting. Hardcoded cap at 3 stacks. Affects all holdout zones, not just the Teleporter. Zone turns blue when active.
| Stacks | Min Charge Time | Zone Radius | Zone Area | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 90.0s | 100% radius | 100% area | Base teleporter, no item |
| 1 | 69.2s | 50.0% radius | 25.0% area | Zone turns blue. Noticeable shrink. |
| 2 | 56.2s | 25.0% radius | 6.2% area | Zone is tiny - requires tight play. |
| 3 | 47.4s | 16.7% radius | 2.8% area | Max effect (hardcoded cap). Barely visible zone. |
A 50% radius reduction means only 25% of the original area. At 2 stacks (25% radius) you have just 6.25% of the original area. The zone becomes tiny very quickly. Most players underestimate how small it gets at 2-3 stacks.
Focused Convergence has a hardcoded effect cap at 3 stacks - the only item in the game with this property. Additional stacks past 3 have zero effect on charge time or zone size. In multiplayer, all player stacks count toward this shared cap.
Focused Convergence is a lunar item that makes all holdout zones (Teleporter, Void Fields cells, Commencement pillars, Void Locus signals) charge 30% faster per stack, but reduces their radius by 50% per stack. The zone turns blue to indicate it is active. It has a hardcoded cap of 3 stacks - effects stop increasing past that regardless of how many copies are held.
Focused Convergence is unlocked by completing the Never Back Down challenge: stay within the Teleporter zone until it is fully charged for 4 consecutive stages. This means you cannot step outside the dome after activating the Teleporter Event, even once, across 4 stages in a row.
Yes, up to a hardcoded cap of 3. Each stack adds 30% faster charge speed and halves the zone radius again. In multiplayer, stacks from all players combine - 3 players each holding 1 copy acts as 3 stacks total. Engineer turrets do not count. Past 3 stacks, additional copies have no effect.
Yes. Focused Convergence affects all holdout zones in the game, not just the Teleporter. This includes the cell events in Void Fields, the pillars on Commencement, and the deep void signals on Void Locus. The zone turns blue and shrinks in all these locations too.
If the player holding Focused Convergence dies during the Teleporter Event in multiplayer, the Teleporter zone immediately expands back to its normal (unmodified) radius. This can catch teammates off guard who were staying just inside the smaller zone. The same happens if Egocentrism consumes the item mid-charge.
It depends heavily on your build and play style. High-DPS builds that can stay close to the Teleporter and kill the boss quickly benefit a lot from the faster charge. Mobile, kiting builds that rely on using the full Teleporter zone to dodge attacks suffer significantly from the radius reduction. Avoid it entirely at Eclipse level 2+, which already halves the radius.
